 Adriana Rocha Dutra Nobre

PhD Candidate - Chemistry, University of Tasmania

"I am proud to be the first one in my family to graduate from university, and even better, I am proud to be a PhD student and scholarship recipient living in Tasmania"

Adriana loves to travel, meeting friends from around the world and exploring new cultures. Originally from Brazil, she sees herself as under construction - every step of her story has contributed to build who she is today, and who she aims to be. Every day, she seeks to re-create herself to meet the challenges that day brings. Professionally, this journey has taken her from studying Pharmacy in Brazil, to undertaking a PhD in Chemistry where she is using liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry to profile the secrets held in Tasmanian plants.
