Lubna Shahzadi

PhD Candidate - Chemistry, University of Tasmania

"I feel being a female and also being a muslim, I don’t see a lot of representation in STEMM. I feel that it is my responsibility when I don’t see a role model for myself to be a role model for other girls and women."

Lubna enjoys listening to music, reading and follows lots of sports (cricket and soccer), she is the first girl in her family to complete a Masters degree and also travel and study abroad. Her background has been in skin regeneration for burn patients and chronic wound healing. Lubna's PhD focuses on novel and innovative resins for stereolithography 3D printing.
