Olivia Holloway

PhD Candidate - Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre

"I love supporting people from all walks of life. I particularly want to be a good role model to young women in my family, and show people science is much more than working in while lab coats."

Olivia is fascinated by how our brain works. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the Wicking Dementia Centre, looking into how a concussion affects the brain and how this may increase someone’s risk of dementia. Within TWICS, Olivia helps coordinate our youth outreach episodes. She particularly enjoys working with students for their fresh and unique insights and hopes that she is helping to inspire future scientists!
