Sepideh Keshan Balavandy

PhD Candidate - Australian Separation Science Centre, University of Tasmania

"I have always liked to motivate people to follow their dreams, and all women should know they are capable of doing everything they want."

Sepideh (Sepi) enjoys spending time with her family and friends hiking or cooking, which is often with her daughter. She had a career in textile engineering in Iran, before moving to Australia to complete a PhD at the University of Tasmania. She is researching how to develop a platform (using 3D printing) for analysing soil and water in remote areas. Sepi started learning English at the age of 30.
