Ingrid Albion

Interpretation and Education Officer

"I feel like I can use science to make a real difference on real world problems."

Ingrid’s passion is educating people about wildlife, climate change and caring for nature. In 2019 she travelled to Antarctica with 100 STEMM women from around the world, which was a great experience for her and it was an empowering experience to see how women can support each other. Ingrid believes in creating legacy programs that aid our planet and has set up and run numerous programs to train others to assist animals including Tasmanian devil insurance program, marine pest programs and Tasmanian whale rescue program.
